My Daily Green Drink For Better Health

February 16, 2020

I’ve been drinking wheat grass daily for a few years and recently I’ve discovered Garden of Life’s Organic Green Powder.  I like to go back and forth with both Amazing Grass’s Wheat Grass and Garden of Life but I have to say the latter is much palpable. :p  I love how easy it is to prepare, just mix a scoop of the green powder with some water and I’m done.  No need to take out the blender to prepare a smoothie. 🙂  There are so many vitamins and minerals in each glass and if you are like me you might have a hard time getting all of your daily intake of veggies and fruits.  This is definitely a fantastic alternative to getting your daily dose of your fruits and vegetables.  I also love that it’s not high in sugar (with only 1 gram of naturally occurring sugar per serving).

This green drink is packed with 40 nutrient dense ingredients, including freshly harvested greens that are low temperature dried to lock in nutrition, plus live probiotics and enzymes for digestion.  Plant-based foods, specifically fruits & vegetables, are lined to better skin, hair and nails, it really is true, you are what you eat.

The benefits of drinking a daily green drink has changed my hair and skin the most.  My hair feels more lush and silky soft and my skin has never been this clear.  My energy level in the morning has improved and I don’t need caffeine to wake me up or sugar to keep me going.

  • Dark Leafy Greens are loaded with high amounts of macro and micro nutrients which helps absorb minerals that are not easily absorbed by the body.
  • Wheatgrass is high in chlorophyll and many vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Test-tube and animal studies have found that its antioxidant content may prevent oxidative stress and cell damage.
  • Anthocyanins from blueberries may reduce oxidative stress, thus lowering the risk of heart disease in both healthy people and those at high risk for the disease.
  • Citrus fruits like lemons contains vitamin C and helps support the body’s main detox organ, the liver to function optimally.
